Business technology questions, answered

Practical answers to the questions business owners ask before choosing technology support.

Managed IT and local support

What is managed IT?

Managed IT is an ongoing agreement to administer and support specified business systems. The scope should identify devices, users, responsibilities, support arrangements, and separately billed work. See our managed IT service.

Which areas does ITS serve?

We are based in Calimesa and focus on businesses in San Bernardino and Riverside counties that we can support onsite. We confirm your specific location and travel needs before agreeing to full managed services. Review our service area approach.

Can you work with our existing IT person or provider?

We can discuss a defined division of responsibilities. Before work starts, establish who handles accounts, devices, networks, vendors, documentation, and escalation so requests do not fall between providers.

Do you offer 24/7 support or same-day onsite visits?

Support hours, response expectations, and onsite arrangements are defined in your agreement. We do not promise 24/7 support or same-day visits by default.

How much does managed IT cost?

We use AI tools and automation to streamline routine work and operate efficiently, helping us offer competitive pricing while keeping our team accountable for the service you receive. Your monthly cost depends on the users, devices, systems, and level of support your business needs. We quote after reviewing your environment. Ask for a clear breakdown of recurring management, software subscriptions, hardware, and separately scoped projects.

Can we start with one service?

Yes. Start with the business function that needs attention, then consider additional support as your needs become clearer.

Accounts, infrastructure and continuity

Can you manage Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 administration can be included in an ITS package. We review accounts, access, email, and the services you use, then agree on administration responsibilities and any licensing changes.

Can you support servers, virtual machines and networks?

Our managed IT scope can cover servers, virtual machines, Active Directory, routers, firewalls, DHCP, and connected devices. We review your environment before confirming coverage.

Does a managed IT agreement automatically include backups?

Do not assume it does. Ask which data and systems are covered, who checks backup failures, how long copies are retained, and how restoration is tested. Confirm the recovery requirements and costs in writing.

Does ITS manage VoIP phone systems?

VoIP administration and coordination with your phone provider can be included. Discuss users, extensions, call routing, voicemail, internet dependencies, and the support boundary.

Will you guarantee cybersecurity or certify compliance?

No provider can promise that an incident will never happen. Agree on the safeguards and responsibilities required for your business. License and insurance renewal reminders are administrative assistance, not legal or compliance certification.

Websites, marketing and software

What does making a website AI ready mean?

We improve content clarity, navigation, accessible information, and relevant structured data so systems can interpret the business. Inclusion in an AI answer is decided by the platform and is not guaranteed. Read about SEO and AI agent optimization.

Can you update an existing website?

We first review its platform, access, content, and maintenance needs. We can recommend focused updates or a rebuild based on what the existing site can support.

Will you just send us marketing leads?

Our service manages agreed content, marketing systems, and campaigns. We review performance and recommend improvements; we do not promise a fixed number of qualified leads or sales.

Can you manage social media and paid advertising?

We offer social media and digital marketing management, with platforms, creative work, approvals, management fees, and advertising spend agreed in advance. Explore the service.

Do we need custom software to use AI?

Not necessarily. We start with your workflow and consider existing tools or integrations before recommending custom development. Explore AI consulting and automation.

Can we use your apps without a managed-service package?

ITS Bid Finder and ITS Social Media Manager are being developed for standalone use as well as managed services. Beta features and access are confirmed individually. Explore both apps.
